Let’s face it funerals are weird. Everyone’s crying, someone’s laughing, and no one knows if it’s okay to make a joke. If the person we’re saying goodbye to had any sense of humor, they’d want us to go out with a laugh, not just casseroles and awkward silences. Dark humor is just grief with better timing.
